Visiting the Library

Students are welcome from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM

Students shall:

  • Present a paper pass from their teacher before signing in at the library during class time.
  • Leave all food and drink outside.
  • Come ready to work on assignments.
  • Keep phones on silent and out of sight.
  • Keep voices to a minimal level.
  • Use computers, furniture, and other materials appropriately.
  • Clean up and return furniture and materials before leaving.
  • Utilize desktop computers for printing and print only school assignments.


Books:

Textbooks, fiction, and nonfiction books are available.

Students shall:

  • Present their 5-digit Student Number to check out any materials.
  • Return all borrowed books at the end of the term, year, or upon exit or graduation.
  • Reports of outstanding materials will be sent each quarter. Check your account here
  • Incur fines and /or other consequences for any lost or damaged books. Fines shall not exceed replacement costs.


Computers:

Each student is issued a Chromebook and a charger. They will use the same Chromebook year to year.

Students shall:

  • Keep track of and take care of their Chromebook and charger.
  • Use the computer appropriately as defined in the Student Technology Acceptable Use Policy:
  • Have the opportunity to receive or purchase Chromebook Insurance.
  • Have access to loaner Chromebooks as needed.
  • Return any damaged or malfunctioning Chromebook to the library.
  • Incur fines and/or other consequences for lost or damaged Chromebook and/or charger. Fines shall not exceed replacement costs.
  • Keep their Chromebook each summer and bring it to school at the start of the following year.

Students have access to the online library catalog and other digital resources.
