• Boosters entertains requests from all aspects of the school community. This includes Academics, Athletics, Clubs, Homecoming, Senior Class activities, and student health and well-being, so long as the activity or need is sanctioned by LTUSD.
• Effective the 22-23 school year, Sports Funding Requests are considered for reusable equipment/items that will benefit the sport for multiple years. Maximum requests of $1,200 will be considered. Varsity coach must be the requesting party and submit the request via theSports Funding Request Form, sent via email to all coaches prior to their season.
• Effective the 22-23 school year,Academic/Club/General Funding Requests should be made on that specific form, and not the Sports Funding Request form. Maximum requests of $1,200 will be considered.
• Please complete your funding request and take it to Mr. Zuninoa minimum of one week in advance of a scheduled Boosters meeting. Requests submitted too close to a meeting date may not be reviewed until the following month’s meeting.Plan ahead!
• If funding is granted by Boosters, you understand that it will be your responsibility to provide two (2) people to fill two (2) volunteer shifts at the Annual Boosters Club Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The date of this event is not known until Edgewood determines it for us. It will take place in the Spring of 2023, shortly after the golf course opens. Students may be considered acceptable volunteers,if you recommend them, though a student’s schedule and the availability of age-appropriate shifts can be limiting factors.
• All funding requests are considered, though not all may be something we can satisfy. The majority of our funding budget comes directly from the Annual Boosters Club Golf Tournament, which we put on in partnership with Whittell High School.
• While we would like to sprinkle money everywhere, we are interested in providing funding where it is needed most, where it makes a meaningful difference, and we will do our best to help when we are asked.
PLEASE reach out if you have any questions, and we look forward to hearing from you.
